I’m going to be presenting a few things at the California Association of Realtors Expo in a couple weeks. One of the things I’ve been asked to do is one of those “Real Estate Website Makeover” kinds of things. You know the drill: someone has a website that they don’t like for some reason and then we tell them how to fix it.
I’m only missing one thing: the real estate website to fix. So if you want to be that person up there getting all the input on your website and you’re already going to CAR Expo (sorry, I wish I could give a free admission or something but that’s not my department), now’s your chance.
How the website makeover is going to work
One of the things that irritates me about website makeovers is how they are often very focused on entirely on the graphic design or the “branding” but aren’t very focused on the functionality of the site as a whole. I think websites should be judged firstly on their performance.
Since I get to run this makeover, it’s going to be about performance enhancement. This means whoever is chosen will leave with some very clear recommendations for testing and website optimization to achieve their real estate business goals. I’ll even prepare the documentation for what we come up with in a way that your existing tech team can understand and implement. Then we’ll check back in and report on it in a few months and again in a year to see how it went.
If any of this sounds like something you want to be a part of, please use the form below to get in touch.
